Event Appearances
Kaunas Marathon 2025
Our first appearance with ColdHug in our hometown Kaunas couldn’t have been better. It was a true Lithuanian spring day – not as hot as summer, but with the sun shining most of the time.
One of the highlights was meeting runners who had already plunged into our tubs during the Vilnius Marathon last year – and seeing them return for another dip. The number of people who joined us this time was unexpectedly high, and the feedback was heartwarming: “This is amazing, you should be at more marathons!”
Many told us they felt relaxed, that the post-run soreness had faded, and that this was exactly what they needed after crossing the finish line.
Our goal was simple – support the runners, share the benefits of cold therapy, and enjoy the event together. And we left Kaunas feeling grateful, inspired, and excited to be part of more moments like this.

ADCC LITHUANIA OPEN 2025
The atmosphere at ADCC Lithuania Open 2025 was intense — a competitive crowd and high-level matches filled the day. For me, stepping onto the mats was a personal challenge. With only five months of BJJ experience, my goal was simple: test myself in a tough environment and walk away without serious injuries. My match ended in defeat, but I left the mat having achieved my goal and truly enjoyed the experience.
Alongside competing, I brought ColdHug cold plunges to the venue — my go-to recovery method after hard BJJ training and sparring. A few athletes, and even the event organizers, took the plunge to relax after a long day. Their feedback was the same: they felt refreshed, soreness gone, and ready for the next challenge.
It was a day of testing limits both on the mats and in recovery — proving that the cold can be just as much a part of the fight as the match itself.

VILNIUS MARATHON 2024
Our first ever public appearance with ColdHug was at the Vilnius Marathon — and the energy was unforgettable. The weather gifted us a perfect September day at 25°C, and the whole event felt alive with excitement and movement.
From the moment we set up, our cold plunges became a magnet for runners, athletes, and curious visitors. So many people took the plunge that one of our tubs was left nearly empty from all the water dripping off happy, refreshed participants. We had countless conversations — with marathoners, sports enthusiasts, and spectators — and the feedback was inspiring: “This is amazing. We’d love to see it at more sporting events or even in our gyms.”
We went to Vilnius with a simple goal: to test our tubs in a real-world, high-energy environment and to better understand the needs of marathon runners and cold therapy users. We left with more than we expected — valuable lessons on improving our filtration system, creating less slippery tub floors, and refining our event preparation. These insights directly shaped the next stage of ColdHug’s design and function.
It was the first step of many — a day where we didn’t just share cold therapy, but also laid the foundation for what ColdHug would become.
